Week 13: Journey of Gratitude

Things I learned: This week I learned about the importance of recognizing where you are at. At any point in the entrepreneurial journey, there are always things that we have to be grateful for. We have to constantly go and find things to be grateful for. There will always be situations in which things may be going poorly, a business may fail, however, there are still things to be grateful for. As you have an attitude of gratitude, you are more able to overcome these obstacles that get in your way. If you look at how far you have gotten, and you realize you much you have grown as a result of this, you are able to look at things differently. When you are grateful, you realize how not to take things for granted. Rather you learn to appreciate even the small things. These small things help you to pay more attention to the details in life. As a result of this, you are able to take a fuller advantage of the opportunities that come your way, because you realize more how much the opportunity will help you, and you have a more detail oriented mind. Rather than letting opportunities come to you, you are more driven to go out and find the opportunities yourself. You realize what you want, and set out to go and get it. It is key to look back to the experiences that have passed, and find things that you learned. As you are more grateful for experiences that have passed, you are able to remember their impact on you. You are able to remember what they meant to you then, and you recognize the importance of applying them.

Things I need to learn: How to look for the positives of any situation? How to always remember to look for the lessons that come from a variety of areas, such as a mentor, or experience that comes?
